Mary Jane Murphy-Bowne is a certified Family and Consumer Science and Pre K - 3 teacher with a background in Nutrition, Child Development, Textiles, and Fashion Design. She has taught for nine years and enjoys finding fun ways to make instruction engaging. Mary Jane is also a costume designer, working for school drama programs and community theater companies.
Currently, she is working as an Assistant Instructional Designer at Rutgers University - Camden. She enjoys helping the faculty with all their instructional technology needs.
She will complete the MA program in Instructional Technology at Stockton University in May 20221. Mary Jane enjoys working as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course, Technology for Teachers. She has also developed and proposed an undergraduate online general studies course that will be offered in Spring 2022 and she will be the instructor.
